GM.Launcher can be set to check if the GoldMine Process Monitor is active. If not, GM.Launcher will actually restart it. Your GoldSync system is back on-line! At your chosen interval (Immediate, 1, 5, 15, 30 Minutes, 1, 5 Hours) GM.Launcher will check to make sure GoldMine is active. If GoldMine is shut down, GM.Launcher will restart it, and can run the macro of your choice.
Run Automatic Maintenance, force log off, automatically restart a macro or the GoldSync Processes.

	Q: What else can I do with GM.Launcher? A: Give all your GoldMine users a forced logout time, make the machine you are running GM.Launcher on be the last to log out of GoldMine (i.e.. Force logout of everyone at 9 pm, Master user at 9:30pm) Now when GM.Launcher restarts GoldMine, there should only be one user logged-in. Have GM.Launcher run a macro to: -Schedule/Run Automatic Maintenance -Import/Export data -Execute Automated Processes -Perform other tasks that require exclusive use of files/no users logged in. OR -Set restart interval to 5 hours (i.e.. keep GoldMine off for a long time) and perform a backup! Q: What is GoldSync mode? A: GoldSync mode will run the GoldSync process monitor without having to login into GoldMine. Q: What about FaxRush? A: FaxRush opens GoldMine in DDE server mode, if GoldMine is not already open. It is best to avoid running GM.Launcher with other applications that also open/close GoldMine. Otherwise, adjust settings so that programs will not interfere with each other (have GM.Launcher open GoldMine first). Q: Are there any known issues regarding the installation and use of GM.Launcher? A: Yes, but minimal. We have found that a rarely seen Anti-Virus program called 'Trend Office Scan 95 Corporate Edition, will prevent GM.Launcher from running.
