Relationship Management
GoldMine is not a relational database. Although the Organizational Chart and Referral Tabs help to track relationships, they both can be confusing to use.
Contact Connect provides a simple interface for the user to track relationships between GoldMine records.
Contact Connect adapts well for the mortgage industry, where lenders working on a borrower’s loan package have contact with a number of third parties, including sales agents, appraisers and title companies, not to mention their own internal loan officers and processors.

Synchronize Userdefined Fields
- The Pro Edition of Contact Connect may be configured to allow for storage and synchronization of contact information of linked records directly on the customer record. This feature reads contact information from linked records and writes the values to userdefined fields on the customer record.
- This option allows that data to be synchronized over to POINT, Contour or Genesys loan file.
Job Processing with OmniRush
- The Pro Edition of Contact Connect may be configured to allow for easy synchronization between GoldMine and OmniRush using Job Processing.
- This feature reads calendar records scheduled for customer records and transfers the jobs to the correct referral records in GoldMine for easy processing by OmniRush.

What is the difference between the Standard and the Professional Editions?
Licensing and Registration:
- Contact Connect is licensed for the GoldMine system that it will be working with. After ordering, you will be supplied with a license number that will allow installation exclusively for the GoldMine license that was supplied with the ??. The license numbers will be valid for 7 days after it is supplied. If installation is not performed within 7 days, you will have to contact support for new license numbers.
- The Contact Connect license is a “server” license that must be installed with the central GoldMine installation. A Contact Connect Pro Edition license is valid for a GoldMine “D” or “E” license. A Contact Connect Standard Edition license will only be valid for a GoldMine “D” license.
- Remote GoldMine users with “S” or “U” licenses may gain licensing for Contact Connect by undocking a Contact Connect license for each remote user. A Contact Connect “U” license will only be valid for a GoldMine “U” or “S” license.
